What is JKSC?
Japan & Korea Student Conference
日韓学生会議はThe International Student Association of JapanとThe International Association Student of Koreaの友好関係に基づき、毎年両国で開催されている二国間交流プログラムです。 相互理解を根本としていて過去の日韓関係の歴史を無視するのではなくそれを正確に理解し乗り越え、平和と安定を目指した新しい友好関係の構築を目的としています。
History
日韓学生会議の母体は1985年韓国で開催された韓日学生会議にあります。日韓両国の関係を気にかけた学生の手によって行われ、 両国の相互理解の促進と国際平和への貢献という理念のもと開催されました。1991年日韓国交25周年を機に、それまで年に一回韓国のみで開かれてきた韓日学生会議を双方の強い要望から年に2回、日韓両国でそれぞれ行うこととなりました。そしてついに、総合テーマを『真の日韓友好をめざして』とし、第8回日韓学生会議が日本で初めて開催されました。 それ以降毎年12月に日韓学生会議、２月に韓日学生会議が行われています。
The beginning of the Japan-Korea Student Conference(JKSC) is Korea-Japan Student Conference(KJSC). It was held in South Korea in 1985. It was conducted by some students who was anxious about the relationship between both countries. The philosophy was decided "The promotion of mutual understanding and contribution to world peace" and the project started.
In 1991, the 25th anniversary year of diplomatic relation between the two, it was decided that the conference would be held twice in a year under the strong requests from the students of both countries. One of them was held in Korea and the other was held in Japan. Finally the 8th conference with the main theme "Toward the true friendship between Japan and Korea" was held in Japan. Since that time, JKSC has been held in December and KJSC has been held in February.
国際政治・経済・社会・文化・歴史など多方面から会議の議題を取り上げ活発な討論を行っています。会議中はディスカッションだけではなく、 両国の共通点や相違点を楽しみながら学べる文化紹介や文化体験なども企画しています。ディスカッションやそのような企画を通して互いの交流を深め 「真の相互理解の促進と友好関係の構築」を目的とする有意義なプログラムを展開しています。
In the conference, we deal various themes. For example, international politics, economics, society, culture, history and so on. We discuss them vigorously. During the program, we introduce our culture and experience different culture. In the field, you can learn the common points and different ones between the two countries. We've produced such a meaningful program which aims "to promote the true mutual understanding and build the true friendship" and participants can interact with each other deeply through the discussion and such plans.
